The Theodor Frank School is a secondary school in Teningen , Baden-Württemberg . It was named after the Baden MP and former Mayor of Teningen Theodor Frank (1826–1889).
history
On September 4, 1973, teaching began with the provisional Rector Fritz Schlotter and 54 students. Felix Kössler was the headmaster from 1975 to 1993. During this time, a new building and an extension of the new building will be inaugurated. After Felix Kössler retired in 1993, Fritz Schlotter will be his successor. All-day care is introduced under Fritz Schlotter and the necessary annex is inaugurated. For the administration, the building will be expanded to include an administration wing. In 2006 Fritz Schlotter was retired as headmaster and Markus Felder was appointed headmaster.

Projects / working groups
The school's own big band is among the various leisure activities for schoolchildren in the form of projects or working groups . It was founded in 1998 under the direction of Stephan Hofstetter and has since made several regional and national appearances, such as For example: at the Tent Music Festival in Freiburg im Breisgau , at the "50 Years of Baden-Württemberg" ceremony in the Europa Park Rust, in La Ravoire (France). On the occasion of the 40th school anniversary, the big band performed together with the SWR Big Band in Teningen in 2013 as part of the Live @ school project . Before that, the professional musicians Klaus-Peter Schöpfer, Andi Maile and Karl Farrent rehearsed in workshops with the children and young people.
In addition, students made several documentaries about Hilla von Rebay , who was buried in Teningen.
