Therese Sessy Åsland (born August 26, 1995 in Norway ) is a Norwegian soccer player who has been playing for the Norwegian national soccer team since 2018 and for Lillestrøm SK Kvinner since 2019 .
Career
societies
Åsland played from 2011 for the Norwegian first division club Klepp IL in the top series , but also with the U-19 and second team in the 2nd division. In the table, the club did not get beyond a midfield position. For the 2013 season, she moved briefly to Avaldsnes IL , but returned to Klepp in June 2016, she moved to league competitor Røa IL , without being able to improve there in the table. Åsland participated with the U-17 team in the two qualifying rounds for the 2012 U-17 European Women's Football Championship . The Norwegians could not use the home advantage granted in the elite round and lost the decisive game against France. Friendlies with the U-19 and U-23 teams followed.
In the last game of 2018, on November 11, she played her first game for the national team. In the 1: 4 in Tottori against Japan she was substituted on in the 74th minute.
