Thiago Rodrigues da Silva (born June 12, 1996 in Rio de Janeiro ), called Thiaguinho or Thiago , is a Brazilian football player .

society

Thiago started his career in the junior division of the CR Flamengo from Rio de Janeiro . In the 2016 season he made the jump to the club's first squad. In the home game against Joinville EC , he sat on the bench for the first time on October 4, 2015 as a reserve player. He filled this role several times in the following year, but has not yet played in competitive games. Thiago played his first official game in the national championship of Rio de Janeiro in 2017. Thiago was in the starting line-up in the 5-1 home win against AA Portuguesa (RJ) . There were two more appearances in the competition, which was crowned with the title. In the same year Thiago played his first game in the top Brazilian league . On June 11, 2017, he was in the starting line-up in the away game against Avaí FC on matchday 6 of the championship . His international club debut also took place in 2017. In the 2017 Copa Sudamericana , his club met the CD Palestino in Santiago de Chile on July 6th . Thiago was in the starting line-up in the game.

Thiago was in goal in the first leg of the final of the Copa do Brasil 2017 . In the course of the game he suffered a fracture in his left wrist . Because of this, he was unable to play for the second leg. After no further appearances since his injury, Thiago was loaned to Atlético Goianiense for the 2019 season. Just 16 days later, the deal was canceled due to a discrepancy in a clause in the loan agreement that required Thiago to play 60% of the games. Shortly after the start of the Series A 2019 Thiago was at America Mineiro in the Série B borrowed.

National team

Thiaguinho was part of the squad for Brazil's U-17 selection at the 2013 U-17 World Cup . He did not come to missions.
