Thibault Verny
Thibault Verny (born November 7, 1965 in Paris , France ) is a French clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Paris .
Life
Thibault Verny graduated as an engineer from the École supérieure de physique et de chimie industrielles de la ville de Paris and entered the seminary in Paris in 1990 . He continued his studies in Rome at the French Pontifical Seminary and obtained a degree in dogmatics from the Gregorian University . On June 27, 1998, he received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Paris .
After various tasks in pastoral care and as dean , he has been active in vocational pastoral care since 2014 . In 2016 he was appointed Vicar General.
On 25 June 2016 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Lamzella and auxiliary bishop in Paris. The Archbishop of Paris, André Cardinal Vingt-Trois , donated him and the simultaneously appointed Denis Jachiet the episcopal ordination on September 9 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Paris auxiliary bishop Jérôme Beau and the bishop of Blois , Jean-Pierre Batut .
