Thierry Tusseau (born January 19, 1958 in Noisy-le-Grand ) is a former French football player .

Player career

Tusseau began his career at FC Nantes as early as 1974. With the "Canaries" he won the French championship twice and the French cup once. In 1983 he moved to Girondins Bordeaux . In Bordeaux he was able to add two more French championship titles to his collection plus a trophy and, for the first time, the French Supercup. In 1986 he moved to Racing Paris in the capital and stayed until 1988. In that year he moved to the second division of the traditional French club Stade Reims ; there he ended his career a good three years later, after he had even played three games in the third division for the Rémois at the beginning of the 1991/92 season .

Internationally, he played 22 times for France. Tusseau took part in the 1984 European Football Championship in his own country, where France also became European champions. He also took part in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico , where the French came third.
