Daniel Bravo (born February 9, 1963 in Toulouse ) is a former French football player .
Player career
In the club
Bravo began his professional career at OGC Nice in 1980. Three years later he moved to AS Monaco . In the principality he was able to win two French titles. He won the French Cup once and the French Supercup once. In 1987 he returned to the OGC Nice and stayed until 1989. That year he went to Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital . With the capital city he won his first championship title (1994). Bravo also won two other French cups, a French Supercup and a French League Cup. Internationally, he won the European Cup Winners' Cup with PSG in 1996 . Bravo played through in the final against SK Rapid Wien . In 1996 he also moved away from Paris and the midfielder went to AC Parma in Italy , but he was not happy and returned to France in 1997 and signed a contract with Olympique Lyon . After only one year in Lyon , he then signed another year with Olympique Marseille and with his home club OGC Nice, where he ended his career in 2000.
Following his active career, he worked as a football expert and analyst for various French television stations and is still active in this position at the current time (as of May 2013).
National team
Internationally, Bravo played 13 times for France and scored one goal. He took part in the European Football Championship in 1984 in his own country, where the French were able to win the European Championship. However, he only came to a short stint in the last group game against Yugoslavia (3-2).
