Thilo Gosejohann (born July 2, 1971 in Niehorst , Gütersloh ) is a German director and cameraman . His brother is the presenter and comedian Simon Gosejohann .

Life

Thilo became known in the underground scene with his Neverhorst projects and amateur films, which he regularly directed with his friends and his brother Simon between 1990 and 2000. Among them was the film Master of the Fist , which was shown at the young film festival Werkstatt für Junge Filmer (now the workshop of the young film scene ).

During his studies as a cameraman at the FH Dortmund with Adolf Winkelmann , Gosejohann became known as a director for his trash film Captain Cosmotic and its broadcast on VIVA Zwei . Following emerged Operation Dance Sensation . During his work as a television director, the shows Comedystreet , Elton vs. Simon and the mockumentary series, which is also running on ProSieben , Everything in order - with the madness on patrol . Gosejohann staged the program Paracomedy for Comedy Central Germany and worked with his brother on its Comedystreet format .

He made the feature films for the heute show on ZDF .

With his brother Simon he has had the podcast "Die Gosejohanns" since November 26, 2019. First with the subtitle "Middle-aged white men", from episode 17 as "Pirate station Niehorst". The episodes range between 55 and 65 minutes

Gosejohann lives with his wife and daughter in Cologne.
