Thilo von Werthern-Michels

Thilo Karl Friedrich-Franz von Werthern-Michels (born January 25, 1878 in Lippstadt , † January 26, 1962 in Nateln ) was a German administrative lawyer in Prussia.

Life

Thilo von Werthern-Michels studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . Since the winter semester 1899/1900 Fuchs in the Corps Hasso-Borussia , he was reciprocated on February 27, 1901 and inactivated in the summer semester 1901 . As a court trainee he was at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . He switched to the internal administration of Prussia and joined the government in Münster on November 18, 1905 as a government trainee . Here he was appointed government assessor on November 27, 1909 and later transferred to the government in Königsberg . During the First World War he served in the Prussian Army . On 3 May 1917 he was Councilor for the district government Minden . In July 1918 he was entrusted with the provisional administration of the Soest District Office, and on February 1, 1919, he was finally appointed District Administrator in the Soest district. He remained in this office for over 17 years, until August 15, 1936. He later became a senior councilor for the President of the Province of Westphalia . He belonged to the SA and was a supporting member of the SS . From the Soest patrician v. Adopted Michels , he retired on May 1, 1938.
