Thomas Kaboré

Thomas Kaboré (born September 23, 1943 in Ouagadougou , Burkina Faso ) is a Burkinabe clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Kaya .

Life

Thomas Kaboré received on 29 June 1970, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 19, 1999, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kaya. The Archbishop of Ouagadougou , Jean-Marie Untaani Compaoré , donated him episcopal ordination on July 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ouahigouya , Philippe Ouédraogo , and the Bishop of Nîmes , Jean Cadilhac .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on December 7, 2018.
