Thomas L. Fisher

Thomas L. Fisher (born before 1970) is a special effects artist .

Life

Norris began his career in television in the mid-1970s. He made his feature film debut in 1975 with Robert Fuest's horror film At Night When the Corpses Scream, starring Ernest Borgnine and Eddie Albert . He was subsequently involved in numerous action films, including the first three parts of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo film series . Norris has appeared on three James Cameron films , True Lies , Terminator 2, and Titanic .

In 1995 he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects , along with John Bruno , Jacques Stroweis and Pat McClung for True Lies , but the award went to Robert Zemeckis ' Forrest Gump that year . Also at the BAFTA Film Awards , True Lies was defeated by Forrest Gump in the Best Visual Effects category . In 1998 he won an Oscar for Titanic together with Robert Legato , Mark A. Lasoff and Michael Kanfer , but at the BAFTA Film Awards, Titanic lost to Luc Besson's science fiction film The Fifth Element .
