Thorben Saggau (born May 7, 1987 in Lübeck ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing at EHC Timmendorfer Strand 06 in the Oberliga Nord since 2011 .
Career
Saggau began his career with the EC Timmendorfer beach and in 2004 moved to the Eisbären Berlin and their youth team, the Eisbären Juniors Berlin , where he most of the time in the German Development League as well as in regional and league standing on the ice. For the 2007/08 season , the striker moved to the Kassel Huskies in the 2nd Bundesliga , with whom he made promotion to the German Ice Hockey League in the same season . In the 2008/09 season , Saggau was also given a license to support the Eispiraten Crimmitschau . In the 2009/10 season and the 2010/11 season he played with the newly promoted EC Hannover Indians in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga and is also equipped with a support license from the Hamburg Freezers for the DEL. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season he returned to his home club, the EHC Timmendorfer Strand 06 .
