Thorsten Sendt (born June 25, 1974 ) is a former German ice hockey player who won the German championship with the Kölner Haien in 1995 .

Career

Sendt was in the squad of the Kölner Haie from the 1993/94 season . A year later he was able to win the German championship with the KEC. He and his club thus became the first champion of the German ice hockey league , which was newly introduced before the season . In the summer of 1995 Sendt moved to the then second-class 1st League North to EV Duisburg . In Duisburg , the defender played a total of 45 games and scored 28 points scorer.

After further engagements in the following years with Ratinger Ice Aliens and EHC Solingen , he signed a contract with ESV Bergisch Gladbach for the 2000/01 season . There he was active for two seasons. In 2003 Sendt ended his active ice hockey career after he was once again in the squad of Grefrather EC 2001 .
