Till Mansmann

Till Berthold Mansmann (born January 8, 1968 in Mannheim-Neckarau ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 .

biography

After graduating from high school in Denzlingen , Mansmann completed his military service as a temporary soldier (2 years) with the 1st minesweeping squadron of the German Navy in Flensburg . He worked as a radio operator on the fast minesweeper Rigel ( Schütze class ). From 1989 onwards, Mansmann studied physics with the minor subjects mathematics , chemistry and philosophy in Heidelberg and Frankfurt am Main and graduated in 1997 with a diploma. While studying, he worked as a journalist and completed internships in various editorial offices, including a. at the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung , HORIZONT , Radio RPR and Radio Wachenheim. Politics and party

Mansmann has been a member of the FDP since 2005. He is district chairman and board member of the FDP Hessen , member of parliament and deputy chairman of the district assembly Bergstrasse and belongs to the Liberal Mittelstand Hessen.

In the 2017 federal election , he ran for the Free Democrats in the Bergstrasse constituency (188) and entered the 19th German Bundestag with fifth place on the state list of the FDP Hessen .

Initially, Mansmann was a full member of the Labor and Social Committee, a full member of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development and a deputy member of the Finance Committee. From 2018 to 2020 he was a deputy member of the study commission for "Vocational training in the digital world of work" and the associated project group 2 "Requirements for training in companies".

Since 2020 he has been a full member of the Finance Committee and a deputy member of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development.

In addition, Till Mansmann is deputy chairman of the German-South Caucasian parliamentary group and a member of the German-Israeli parliamentary group and the German-Central American parliamentary group. He is Vice President of the German-Armenian Forum and a member of the Parliamentary Advisory Board for Population and Development, the Advisory Board of the German Evaluation Institute for Development Cooperation and the World Food Working Group.

Mansmann is married, has a daughter and lives with his family in Heppenheim an der Bergstrasse .
