Till Berthold Mansmann (born January 8, 1968 in Mannheim-Neckarau ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 .

biography

After graduating from high school in Denzlingen , Mansmann completed his military service as a temporary soldier (2 years) with the 1st minesweeping squadron of the German Navy in Flensburg . He worked as a radio operator on the fast minesweeper Rigel ( Schütze class ). From 1989 onwards, Mansmann studied physics with the minor subjects mathematics , chemistry and philosophy in Heidelberg and Frankfurt am Main and graduated in 1997 with a diploma. Mansmann has been a member of the FDP since 2005. He is district chairman and board member of the FDP Hessen , member of parliament and deputy chairman of the district assembly Bergstrasse and belongs to the Liberal Mittelstand Hessen.

In the 2017 federal election , he ran for the Free Democrats in the Bergstrasse constituency (188) and entered the 19th German Bundestag with fifth place on the state list of the FDP Hessen .

Initially, Mansmann was a full member of the Labor and Social Committee, a full member of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development and a deputy member of the Finance Committee. Mansmann is married, has a daughter and lives with his family in Heppenheim an der Bergstrasse .
