Tim Choate

Tim Choate (* 11. October 1954 in Dallas as Timothy Clark Choate ; † 24. September 2004 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor .

Live and act

After a production on Broadway , he made his film debut in 1979 in the literary adaptation of The Europeans in the role of Clifford Wentworth. Directed by James Ivory , he starred opposite Lee Remick , Tim Woodward and Kristin Griffith . The following year, again under the direction of James Ivory, he took on the role of Jamie in the film Jane Austen in Manhattan alongside Anne Baxter and Robert Powell . In addition to two other engagements on Broadway, he played in many series, for example, from 1987 to 1990 he embodied the character of Tommy Bayland in nineteen episodes of the American daily soap Reich und Schön . In the science fiction series Babylon 5 , he was seen in the role of Zathras.

He died in a motorcycle accident in 2004 and was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California .
