Tiptoes (alternatively: Tiptoes - (not) the size matters ) is an American - French comedy film directed by Matthew Bright from 2003.

The artist Carol falls in love with Steven Bedalia, with whom she moves in. She becomes pregnant from him. Bedalia reveals to her that his entire family is short; he was the only one who reached the usual height of a person. Even his twin brother Rolfe is short.
Carol still decides to have the child. She learns from Rolfe about the life of short people, and at times she is in love with Rolfe.

Reviews
Lisa Nesselson praised Gary Oldman's portrayal in Variety magazine on September 24, 2003. The film deals with many topics and is an "honorable failure".
The lexicon of international films wrote that the “melodramatic” film had “weaknesses”, but that it was “solidly” entertaining and advocated for “social outsiders”. The representations were praised as "convincing".
