Tiraque is a country town in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Tiraque is the central place of the canton Tiraque in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Tiraque and the administrative seat of the province Tiraque . The city is located at an altitude of 3298 m in the mountain range of the Cordillera Oriental on the left bank of the Río Jatun Mayu .

The climate of the region is a typical time of day climate , in which the temperature differences during the day are significantly greater than the differences between the seasons.

From Tiraque, the Camino RN4 Colomi-Tiraque leads 14 kilometers northwest to Ruta 4 , from the junction it is 27 kilometers west to Sacaba and from there another 16 kilometers to Cochabamba.
