Title Fight is an American melodic hardcore band from Kingston , Pennsylvania , formed in 2003.

history

Early Years and The Last Thing You Forget (2003-2010)

Title Fight was founded in 2003 by Jamie Rhoden and brothers Ned and Ben Russin. First they played at smaller concerts in Kingston and the surrounding area. Their first demo appeared in the year it was founded and was called Down for the Count . In 2005 Shane Moran joined the band as the second guitarist. In 2005 and 2006 two more demos were released.

In 2007 they released a split EP on FlightPlan Records with Erection Kid, whose members later founded the band Balance and Composure. In 2008 the 7 "vinyl Kingston was also released by FlightPlan Records . Later Title Fight switched to Run for Cover Records, where they released The Last Thing You Forget , which was originally only an EP with three songs, but is also available in an LP version , which added songs from other EPs and Title Fight singles, followed by a US tour with New Found Glory , and the Kingston EP was re-released by Six Feet Under Records .

Shed (2011-2012)

In January 2011 Title Fight moved to SideOneDummy Records. On May 3, her first studio album Shed was released there , produced by Walter Schreifels ( Gorilla Biscuits , Quicksand , Rival Schools and Youth of Today ). This was followed in May and June and the first tour where they were headliners, with The Menzingers, Touché Amoré , Dead End Path and Shook Ones as opening acts occurred. Then they went on their first tour of Australia with Touché Amoré. Then, in November and December, Title Fight toured Europe with Balance and Composure and Transit. In April and May 2012, they were joined by A Day to Remember the opening act for Rise Against their US tour.

Floral Green (2012)

On July 14, 2012, Title Fight presented the song Head in the Ceiling Fan on their Tumblr page, which could be downloaded for free. A second song, Symphaty , was released on August 14, 2012. On September 18, 2012, Floral Green was released. The album was album of the month for the German music magazine Visions and was included as an insert in the magazine. Title Fight then toured with support bands Tigers Jaw, Pianos Become the Teeth and Single Mothers. Then they played together with Make Do and Mend and Into It. Over It. In the opening act of La Dispute on their European tour.
