Touché Amoré is an American post-hardcore band from Los Angeles ( USA ) that was founded in 2007. Touché Amoré is seen as part of the Screamo revival, and she also belongs to the post-hardcore movement "The Wave" together with Defeater , La Dispute , Make Do and Mend and Pianos Become the Teeth .

The band released their debut single 7 "in September 2008 on No Sleep Records. After several tours of the West Coast, they recorded their first album ... To the Beat of a Dead Horse in January 2009 at Earth Capital Studios, which both Released on 6131 label and Geoff Rickly's ( Thursday ) Collect Records label, the album received generally positive reviews from Sputnikmusic , Punknews.org, and Alternative Press , and was included in several leaderboards in 2009.

In 2009 and 2010 the band played over 250 concerts a. a. as opening act for Thursday, Converge, Envy , And So I Watch You from Afar and Strike Anywhere , with first concerts in Europe at the end of 2010.

In 2010 two split EPs were released in which Touché Amoré was involved: Searching For A Pulse / The Worth Of The World with La Dispute and Touché Amoré / Make Do and Mend with Make Do and Mend .

Touché Amore's second studio album, Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me was 7 June 2011 on the independent label Deathwish Inc. published. The band worked with producer and sound engineer Ed Rose in his Black Lodge Recording Studio in Eudora, Kansas . The album became record of the month with the German music magazine Visions and landed at number 6 on Rock Sound's annual “Album Of The Year” charts .

The band played over 200 concerts in North America, Australia and Europe after its release. a. also as support for Rise Against and at various festivals such as the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin in the USA or the Hevy Music Festival in England. In addition, Touché Amoré played in the opening act for Converge on their European tour in December 2012.

On January 22, 2013, a split EP was released with Pianos Become the Teeth , another band from The Wave movement. In addition, a split EP with the band Title Fight was released, on which Touché Amoré will cover their song Crescent-Shaped Depression and Title Fight will cover the song Face Ghost, which was released on Parting the See Between Brightness and Me .

Touché Amoré's third album, Is Survived By , was released on September 27, 2013. The album is lyrically and musically more positive than its predecessors and the songs and the entire album have become a little longer. Is Survived By was album of the month for September in the German music magazine Visions and was available as an insert for subscribers.

On June 20, 2016, Touché Amoré announced the release of their fourth album entitled Stage Four for September 2016 and released their first song at the same time, Palm Dreams . The album was released in Germany on September 16, 2016 and made it into the album charts in Germany and the USA. It was both readers and the editorial staff of Visions for Album of the Year chosen 2016th
