Titular diocese of Amisus
Amisus ( Italian : Amiso ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a former diocese of the ancient city of Amisos in the Asian Minor region of Pontos, today Samsun on the Turkish Black Sea coast . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Amasea .
