Titular diocese of Assuras

Assuras ( Italian : Assura ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of the same name in the Roman province of Zeugitana or Africa proconsularis in what is now northern Tunisia . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Carthage .
