Titular diocese Tipasa in Numidia
Tipasa in Numidia ( Italian : Tipasa di Numidia ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
The city, located in North Africa, was an old Roman bishopric that went down in the 7th century with the Islamic expansion . It was located in the Roman province of Numidia south of the bishopric of St. Augustine , Hippo Regius .
