Antonio Realubin Tobias
Antonio Realubin Tobias (born June 13, 1941 in Laoag City , Ilocos Norte , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Novaliches .
Life
Antonio Realubin Tobias received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Manila on December 21, 1965 .
On November 3, 1982 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Tipasa in Numidia and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Zamboanga . The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him episcopal ordination on January 25, 1983 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Zamboanga, Francisco Raval Cruces , and the Archbishop of San Fernando , Oscar V. Cruz . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Pagadian on September 14, 1984 . On May 28, 1993, he was appointed Bishop of San Fernando de La Union . Antonio Realubin Tobias also became Apostolic Administrator of Novaliches on June 21, 2003 . On November 25, 2003, he was appointed Bishop of Novaliches.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on June 6, 2019.
