Titular Archdiocese of Chalcedony
Chalcedony ( Italian : Calcedonia ) is a titular archbishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
The ancient bishopric was located in Chalcedon , a modern part of Istanbul ( Turkey ). After the Council of Chalcedon (451), the Diocese of Chalcedon was raised to an archbishopric . No suffragan bishoprics were assigned to him.
