Titus Odell Makin Jr. (born June 10, 1989 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an American actor and dancer .

Life

In his childhood the family moved frequently; the father was a soldier. Titus started singing and dancing, and at the age of nine he entered a talent competition in his elementary school. Although he knew he wanted to work in show business, he had no acting experience until he graduated from Buena High in Sierra Vista , Arizona in 2006. After high school, he was accepted into The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts . In his freshman year, he was selected for the New York Knicks Acroback Tumblers , which appeared on a New York Knicks halftime show at Madison Square Garden . After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

One of his first roles was that of a dancer in an episode of the television series Victorious . In 2010 he was seen as a dancer in two episodes of the soap opera Love, Lie, Passion . In the same year he received a recurring supporting role in Fox - musical series Glee . In it he played the role of David in ten episodes until 2012 . In 2011 he starred alongside Lucy Hale and Freddie Stroma as Mickey O'Malley in Cinderella Story - Once Upon A Song . He also made guest appearances on The Closer , Grimm and Castle .

In late February 2013, Makin Jr. got the lead role as Lukas on The CW television series Star-Crossed , which aired on the station between February and May 2014.
