Tobias Lübben

Tobias Lübben (* 1973 in Unna ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Tobias Lübben was born in 1973 in Unna as the son of Karin Lübben and Gerd Hergen Lübben . He studied Romance studies and social sciences at the Ruhr University in Bochum . After studying in France, Spain and Mexico as well as teaching at the Foreign Language Faculty of Tongji University in Shanghai , he completed the master’s course in Journalism at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2005 .

Since then he has worked for ARD programs , for example in Deutschlandfunk (dlf) and Hessischer Rundfunk (hr) for " hr-info ", the hr information radio program , as well as in the central hr newsroom " hr4 " in Frankfurt am Main , as Reporter , Commentator and Chief of Service ("CVD"). In 2008 he was awarded the Hessian Journalist Prize in the " Radio " category for, according to the jury, in an equally stylish and media-savvy manner as well as with entertaining and skilfully formulated commentary reports on hr4 and hr-info .

He participates in municipal "projects and campaigns related to civic engagement" as well as in events of the German Association of Journalists (DJV) and the Journalistic Colloquium of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz on current issues of journalism as well as the media and their markets.
