Tobias Pilegaard Mikkelsen (born September 18, 1986 in Helsingør ) is a Danish football player . He has played for Brisbane Roar in Australia since 2018 .
Career

Helsingør IF, Humlebæk BK and Lyngby BK
About Helsingør and the neighboring Humlebæk Mikkelsen came into the youth of the former top club Lyngby BK . There he moved in 2004 to the first team playing in the third division and rose with this twice in three years. When Lyngby arrived in the Superligaen in 2007 , Mikkelsen left the club.
Brøndby IF
He moved to the capital Copenhagen at Brøndby IF and took the cup win in the first year there his first title. However, the winger could not play in the starting eleven and in the second year injuries threw him back again and again, so that he only made five appearances.
FC Nordsjælland
Mikkelsen then moved within the first division to the up-and-coming FC Nordsjælland . There he had to get used to the injury period, but was then regularly in the squad in the second half of the 2009/10 season. That year he won the Danish cup competition. In the following year he was almost always part of the starting line-up in the league and in the end was again in the cup final with the team. For the second time in a row, FC Midtjylland was defeated there and the title was defended.
In the 2011/12 season, Mikkelsen developed more and more into a key player for the club. His performance in the league was honored with an appointment to two international matches for the Danish national football team in November 2011. In the friendly against Finland he made his first international appearance in the second half and provided the template for the decisive 2-1. He then became Danish champions with FC Nordsjælland. He himself contributed seven goals to the season's success. Mikkelsen played two more games for FCN in the 2012/13 season.
SpVgg Greuther Fürth
In July 2012, Mikkelsen moved to the then promoted team in the Bundesliga , SpVgg Greuther Fürth . He made his debut for the Franks on August 18, 2012 when he was in the starting eleven in the first round match of the DFB Cup against Kickers Offenbach . On October 6, 2012 (7th matchday) he made his debut in the 0-1 defeat in the home game against Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga with the substitution in the 60th minute for Sercan Sararer .
Rosenborg Ball Club
On January 16, 2013, Mikkelsen moved to the Norwegian Tippeligaen for the Rosenborg Ball Club . He signed a four-year contract with the Trondheim club . With Rosenborg Ballklub, Mikkelsen always placed third in the final table and became Norwegian champion in 2015.
FC Nordsjælland and Brisbane Roar
In January 2016 he moved back to his Danish homeland prematurely and signed a contract with FC Nordsjælland and finished eighth with the club at the end of the season. One season later , FC Nordsjælland finished sixth in the championship round, before qualifying for the UEFA Europa League the following season . After the end of the season Mikkelsen left the club.
In summer 2018 he moved to Australia for the A-League club Brisbane Roar .
National team
Tobias Mikkelsen was appointed to the national team for the 2012 European Football Championship after two friendly international matches .
