Tone (born March 22, 1974 as Anthony Malcolm Wolz ) is a German rapper from the Nordweststadt housing estate in Frankfurt am Main , who was a member of the hip-hop formation Konkret Finn until 1997 .

Life

With Iz and DJ Feedback, Tone formed “the first German battle crew” of German-speaking hip-hop , specifically Finn, in the early 1990s . After their separation in 1997 he worked a. a. with artists like Azad , Brothers Keepers , Chima , Curse , D-Flame , J-Luv , Killa Hakan , Melbeatz , Samy Deluxe , Stieber Twins and Roey Marquis II . Through these collaborations his decision matured not to make a pure battle album.

In 2004 he toured with Billy Davis, Xavier Naidoo and Bintia under the name “Fourtress”. In 2005 he released the single "Reimroboter", which is based on a sample from Kraftwerk's "It's More Fun To Compute". Azad, Xavier Naidoo, J-Luv, Bintia and the opera singer Pari Samar were also involved in his debut album "Zukunftsmusik", which was released in the same year.
