Trégon ( Breton : Tregon-Poudour ) is a former French commune with the last 249 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Dinan and the canton of Pleslin-Trigavou (until 2015: canton of Ploubalay ). The inhabitants are called Trégonnais .
The municipality of Trégon was merged with Ploubalay and Plessix-Balisson to form the new municipality of Beaussais-sur-Mer with effect from January 1, 2017 .
geography
Trégon is about 14 kilometers southwest of Saint-Malo on the emerald coast of the English Channel . The municipality of Trégon was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer in the north and northwest, Ploubalay in the east and Créhen in the south and west.
The former Route nationale 786 (today's D768 / D786) leads through Trégon .
