The Tratenbach , or Trattenbach , is a right tributary of the Isar in Lenggries in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen .
geography
The Tratenbach is a brook in the western Mangfall Mountains in the district of Lenggries ( Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district ).
It flows westward through the valley between the Keilkopf and the ridge of the Geierstein and is fed by numerous nameless slope trenches, especially on the slopes of the Schweinberg and Geierstein. The highest of these trenches is on the eastern side of the saddle between Geierstein and Schwarzwand . The Tratenbach flows from the named valley past the Lenggries district of Tratenbach and the Pfundalm, then through the northern districts of Lenggries through the Lenggrieser Baggerweiher 2 (swimming ban), crosses under the federal highway 13 and finally flows out on the northern edge of Lenggries, only approx. 200 m above the mouth of the Steinbach , from the right into the Isar.
