The Treisbach is an 8.3 km long right or southwest tributary of the Gilsa in the north Hessian Schwalm-Eder district , Germany .

The Treisbach rises in the community of Gilserberg about 1.5 km south of the Sebbeterode district near the Treisbach forester's house . It flows in a predominantly north-easterly direction to the east past Sebbeterode and then passes the Richerode estate on the edge of the Hemberg . Finally it reaches the place Jesberg , where it flows into the Gilsa below the castle hill .
