Treyvon Ramal Hester (* 21st September 1992 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American American football poker players. He plays the position of defensive tackle with the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL). Previously, he was already under contract with the Oakland Raiders , Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles .

Career

Hester attended the University of Toledo from 2012 to 2016 , where he played college football for the Toledo Rockets . After suspending his first season as a Redshirt , he played in his first season as a player in all 12 games in 2013, nine of them from the start. He scored 7.5 tackles for loss of space and 3.5 sacks. He was elected to the third team All- MAC . In 2014 he scored 49 tackles, including 9.5 for loss of space, and two sacks. He was elected to the second team All-MAC . As a senior, he scored 34 tackles, 6.5 of which were for loss of space, and 2.5 sacks. In his final season, he scored 39 tackles, 8.5 for loss of space, and five sacks. However, he also suffered a shoulder injury that had to be operated on. He was again elected to the second team All-MAC . He scored a total of 153 tackles, including 31.5 for loss of space, and 13 sacks.

In the 2017 NFL Draft , Hester was selected as the 244th player in the seventh round by the Oakland Raiders . In the first 14 games of the season, he scored 19 tackles and forced a fumble before sustaining an ankle injury. He made 10 of his 19 tackles in his last four games. After initially making the jump to the 53-man squad for the 2018 season , he was dismissed on September 3 before the first match day.

On September 7, 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles signed him for their Practice Squad . On October 3, 2018, he was promoted to the active squad to replace Bruce Hector . He played regularly at the beginning, but his playing time saw a significant decline from the eighth day of the game. On Matchday 16, he scored his first sack in the NFL against the Houston Texans . In addition to the sack, he scored 13 tackles during the regular season. In the first play-off game of the Eagles he was able to block the final field goal of the Chicago Bears and thus avoid the elimination. He was dismissed as part of the final squad downsizing before the start of the 2019 regular season.

On September 2, 2019, he was signed by the Washington Redskins . He played 11.6% of the defensive snaps, scoring a sack and eight tackles. After the season he became a free agent .

On May 1, 2020, the Green Bay Packers signed Hester. At the end of July 2020, Hester was placed on the Reserve / COVID-19 list.
