Trinitatiskirche (Gütersloh)
The Trinity Church is a secular church building in the district of Kattenstroth in the East Westphalian district town of Gütersloh . The church of the Evangelical Church Community in Gütersloh was de-dedicated in October 2007.
The last service in the Trinity Church took place on October 21, 2007. After the service, the congregation moved in a procession to St.Matthew's Church , where some of the interior works of art also moved.
In the following months, the Trinity Church was converted into a supervised residential community for the Diakonie for elderly people in need of care and those suffering from dementia. In the place of the bell tower , whose bells were given to a church in Iserlohn , a new building with eleven rental and owner-occupied apartments for senior-friendly living was built. The facility bears the title " Trinity nursing home community ".
The organ of the Trinity Church, built in 1995 by the Emil Hammer Orgelbau company , was transferred to the Gütersloh Erlöserkirche by the Verler master organ builder Kampherm . It has eleven stops on two manuals and pedal , mechanical action and registration.
