The gmina wiejska Turek is an independent rural community in Poland in the Powiat Turek in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Turek (German Turek ). The rural community, to which the city of Turek itself does not belong, has an area of 109.4 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 9,943 people live.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community was part of the Konin Voivodeship .
geography
The municipality is located between Konin and Kalisz . The area of the rural parish includes the city of Turek on all sides.
