Tylor Spink (* 31 December 1992 in Williamstown , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player on the position of the center , which since 2019 at Porin Ässät in the Finnish Liiga under contract. His twin brother Tyson Spink is also a hockey player.
Career
Tylor Spink started his career in the 2008/09 season with the Char-Lan Rebels , but in the same season he also played for the Cornwall Colts , for which he ran up to the 2011/12 season in the CJHL. Together with his twin brother, with whom he already played for the Cornwall Colts , Spink began studying at Colgate University and played in the National Collegiate Athletic Association from 2012 to 2016 .
In the 2015/16 season he was able to play for the Toledo Walleye in the ECHL and the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League after the NCAA season that had already ended . The following season he scored 76 points (28 goals, 48 assists) in 66 games in his first full ECHL season for Toledo . Due to his good performance, the Canadian was loaned to three AHL teams, where he only played one game; for the Albany Devils he was on the ice in three games.
For the 2017/18 season, the Spink brothers moved together from Toledo to Europe to Örebro HK in Svenska Hockeyligan , after the season the two brothers extended their contract in Sweden for another year. For the 2019/20 season, the twins moved to Finland to Porin Ässät in the Liiga , where Tylor Spink scored 32 points (13 goals, 19 assists) in 52 games.
