Ueno ( Japanese 上 野村 , - mura ) is a village on the Japanese main island of Honshū in Tano County in Gunma Prefecture .

history

In 1985, near the village, there was an airplane accident in which 520 people were killed, including the Japanese singer and actor Kyū Sakamoto .
