The motor ship Uhldingen is a passenger ship of the Bodensee-Schiffsbetriebe on Lake Constance . It is used in scheduled traffic between Meersburg and Überlingen ( Überlinger See ) and in charter operations on Überlinger See and Obersee . The home port is Unteruhldingen .

history

In 1989 the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) bought another ship the size of the Mainau from private hands. This ship, built in 1974 by the Lux shipyard for Peter Gonschorek in Unteruhldingen, replaced the Falke that was sold in Constance .

In October 1999 Uhldingen had a television appearance in the ZDF programWetten, dass ..? ". A pencil attached to the bow should be used to hit a button on the harbor wall that activates the Lindau harbor lighting. The bet was lost.

The Uhldingen is used today in the course traffic between Unteruhldingen and the island of Mainau . There are also trips to Überlingen and Meersburg .
