The 1999/2000 season was the seventh season of the Ukrainian Ice Hockey League , the highest Ukrainian ice hockey league . The HK Berkut Kiev became champions for the first time in the club's history .

mode

In the main round, each of the six teams played a total of ten games. The two best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. The HK Sokol Kiev and HK Berkut Kiev were a contestant on the Eastern European Hockey League directly qualified for the playoffs. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
