Ukrainian national floorball team
The Ukrainian national floorball team represents Ukraine in international games and tournaments in the sport of floorball . In 2017 the national team took part in a qualification for the first time, but ultimately failed to qualify for the World Cup in Bratislava.
history
In 2012 Ukraine became a member of the International Floorball Federation, the global floorball association. In the following years, the association opted for fair competition and cooperation with the Ministry of Sports. Therefore, the women's championship was held for the 2012/13 season. The women did not qualify for the World Cup until 2016. Bohdan Tyravskyy became the first coach of the women's national team and qualified with his team in Madrid for the World Cup in Bratislava. In the first qualifying game they lost to Latvia 31-1. In the end, the national team finished last place in European Group 4 with four defeats and no win.
