The Ulf is a small river in the Belgian Ardennes . It rises 490 m above sea level in the east of the municipality of Gouvy , two kilometers south of Aldringen , west of the flat top of the Heckenberg (506 m) and after about 250 m it reaches the border of the municipality of Burg-Reuland , through which it flows to its mouth flows into the Our , 350 m above sea level in the district of Weweler . It is almost 18 km long and drains around three quarters of the municipality. Its largest tributary, the Thommer Bach, is longer than its own upper course. At the confluence, its valley is already deeply cut. Then it passes the districts of Oudler and Reuland (with Reuland Castle ).
