Ulutürk (formerly Darlı and Türkdarlı ) is a former village in the district of Bismil in the Turkish province of Diyarbakır . Ulutürk is located about 36 km southeast of the provincial capital Diyarbakır and 1 km west of Bismil. According to the last census, Ulutürk had 4,664 inhabitants (2014). Since a regional reform in 2014, the place is a district of the district town of Bismil.

The population consists mainly of Alevi Turks , but there are also some Kurds who have moved from the surrounding villages . Along with Aralık , Bakacak , Eliaçık , Karamusa , Köseli , Recep and Türkmenhacı, Ulutürk is one of the few villages in the Diyarbakır province that has been populated by Turks. The name of the village means great or exalted Turk .

Ulutürk grew together with the city of Bismil in the last few years and the number of inhabitants has doubled since 2000. In 2000 the population of the village was 2,460.
