The União das Freguesias de Jolda (Madalena) e Rio Cabrão is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Arcos de Valdevez in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Madalena de Jolda and Rio Cabrão . Madalena de Jolda became the seat of the new administration.
