The Unicode block Egyptian Hieroglyphs (Egyptian Hieroglyphs, U + 13000 to U + 1342F) encodes an essential part of the Egyptian hieroglyphs , which represented the writing system of ancient Egypt and its Egyptian language and can be found on numerous stone inscriptions. The hieroglyphs encoded in this Unicode block largely correspond to the Gardiner list , but contain a few additional variants.
