Uprising is a reggae album by Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley and his band. It was released in 1980. Because Marley died the following year, Uprising was the last studio album in his lifetime. This album is one of Marley's most religious; His Rastafarian beliefs can be seenin almost every song.
Uprising reached number 41 in the " Billboard Black Album Charts" and number 45 in the pop charts. The song Could You Be Loved reached number 6 in the "Club Play Singles Charts" and number 56 in the "Black Singles Charts".
