Ursula Ludwig

Ursula Ludwig (* 1923 in Nuremberg as Ursula Hurley ; † 1999 in Munich ) was a German actress .

biography

Grown up in Dessau and Berlin, she attended the studio for young stage talent in Berlin after school. From 1951 to 1953 she worked at the Stuttgart State Theater, among others as Annemarie in The Merry Vineyard and Mascha in Three Sisters . She then worked on the comedy in Marquardt and at the Volkstheater Vienna until 1957 .

In 1957 she settled in New York, where she stayed until 1963. She performed here as part of tours at the German Theater there. In 1963 she returned to the Federal Republic and had engagements at the Comedy Basel (1964), at the theater Die Kleine Freiheit in Munich, 1968 and 1970 at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt , 1969 at the Wuppertaler Bühnen , 1970 to 1973 at the Kammerspiele Düsseldorf, Theater am Dom in Cologne, Theater im Zoo Frankfurt, 1978 at the Städtebundtheater Hof , Contra-Kreis-Theater Bonn, Die Komödie in Frankfurt and 1978 to 1981 at the Staatstheater Kassel. In 1980 she became a member of the ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe .

Ludwig was involved in numerous television productions, for example in the ZDF crime series Derrick and Der Alte . In addition, she played the role of Lydia Nolte in the ARD series Lindenstrasse in the mid-1990s . Ursula Ludwig was the successor of Tilli Breidenbach , who had to leave the series for health reasons. She played from episode 410 to 455. She was married and had a daughter.
