Tilli Breidenbach , also Tilly Breidenbach (born August 2, 1910 in Völklingen ; † October 23, 1994 in Munich ) was a German voice actress and actress .

Life

Tilli Breidenbach grew up in Cologne , where she first studied German , Romance studies and art history after graduating from high school . She finally learned the acting profession at the drama school of the Cologne theaters.

After the Second World War it belonged u. a. to the ensemble of the Staatstheater Darmstadt , between 1948 and 1950 Breidenbach played at the Landestheater in Kiel , engagements in Essen , Lucerne , at the Berliner Freie Volksbühne , at the Hamburg Ernst-Deutsch-Theater , at the Schauspielhaus Zürich , at the city and studio theater in Bern as well as at Staatstheater Kassel followed.

From the 1960s on, Breidenbach played in numerous well-known television productions. In addition, she was seen with guest roles in series such as Tatort , St. Pauli Landungsbrücken , Aufachse or Our Hagenbecks . In the cartoon series Die Biene Maja , Tilli Breidenbach was the spokeswoman for the spider Thekla , in the cartoon series Heidi as Peter's grandmother and in the Muppet show as the cloakroom attendant Hilda .

She became known to a wide audience through the role of Lydia Nolte in Hans W. Geißendörfer's family series Lindenstrasse . Breidenbach played the character from episode 4 (first broadcast: December 29, 1985) to episode 370 (first broadcast: January 3, 1993). For health reasons, she was unable to continue her engagement at Lindenstrasse , so that the role of Lydia Nolte from episode 410 (first broadcast October 10, 1993) was re-cast by Ursula Ludwig .

Tilli Breidenbach died on October 23, 1994 in Munich after a serious illness. Her grave is located in Munich's Westfriedhof .
