Urwaldsteig Edersee
The Urwaldsteig Edersee is an approximately 68 km long circular hiking trail in the northern Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg , which leads on mostly narrow paths on steep slopes around the Edersee reservoir on the Eder . His signpost is a white UE on a blue background.

The Edersee Urwaldsteig is located in the Kellerwald-Edersee Nature Park and, in stages, also in the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park . It runs south of the Edersee through the national park with its red beech forests and north of the reservoir through dry oak forests. The trail is divided into six stages that can be hiked in three to six days; There are also ten short circular routes that branch off from the main path for day-trippers. In some sections it runs together with the Kellerwaldsteig and between Waldeck Castle and Uhrenkopf together with the Habichtswaldsteig .

- Asel - Hünselburg - Scheid peninsula (to Nieder-Werbe ) (approx. 11 km)
