Ute Christensen

Ute Christensen (born December 21, 1955 in Neubrandenburg ; born Ute Schernau ) is a German actress and screenwriter .

Life

After secondary school , she attended the Rostock State Drama School for three and a half years in what was then the GDR and in 1974 received an engagement at the Rostock Volkstheater . She organized Brecht evenings and took part in several films.

In 1975 she fled to the West in the trunk of her friend and later husband Alain Christensen's car. She initially stayed in Paris and settled in Germany in 1976. At the end of the 1970s, she took stage roles at the Landesbühne Hannover and the Theater Aachen .
