Ute Schmidt (* 1958 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German actress .

Life

Ute Schmidt grew up in Berlin and, after graduating from high school, attended the State Drama School in Berlin until 1980 . Her first engagement was at the Landestheater Eisenach , to which she belonged until her resignation due to giving up spoken theater in 1992. Guest contracts then took her to theaters in Erfurt , Marburg , Gießen , Berlin and Schwäbisch Hall . She has been employed at the Rudolstadt Theater since 1995 .
