Utku Yuvakuran (born November 2, 1997 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper . He is the son of the former Turkish national player Semih Yuvakuran .

Career

Yuvakuran started club football in 2008 in the youth of Pendikspor and was active here until 2012. He then played for the offspring of Sancaktepe Belediyespor for two years . In the summer of 2014, he switched to Istanbul fourth division Beylerbeyi SK as a professional player . Here he played one season for the U-19 youth team and was part of the professional squad from summer 2015. In his first professional season he made it into the starting eleven.

For the 2016/17 season he was then hired by the traditional club Beşiktaş Istanbul . For this he played for the reserve team for two years, but was always in the squad of the professional team as the third goalkeeper. For this he occasionally completed a few cup games in his first two seasons. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season, he also made his league debut for Beşiktaş on August 26, 2018 in the first division match against Antalyaspor .

National team

Yuvakuran began his national team career in 2015 with a mission for the Turkish U-20 national team . In 2016 he also played for the Turkish U-19 national team .
