Pedro Miguel Braga Rebocho (born January 23, 1995 in Évora ) is a Portuguese football player who has been under contract with EA Guingamp since summer 2017 .

Career

In the club

Youth career

Rebocho was born in 1995 in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal , more precisely in the city of Évora . Here he started with the club football in the youth of Juventude Évora and moved to Lisbon in 2007 in the youth department of Benfica Lisbon . In the 2013/14 season the UEFA Youth League Rebocho played all ten games with the Benfica- juniors and reached the final.

Professional career

His professional career began with the second team , Benfica Lisbon B , from Benfica Lisbon , when he made his league professional debut in August 2014 in the second division match against Académico de Viseu FC at the age of 19 . After two seasons and no chance in the first team of Benfica, Rebocho moved to Moreira de Cónegos in the summer of 2016 for the Portuguese first division club Moreirense FC . In the 2016/17 season he attracted attention as a full-back with 6 assists in a total of 34 competitive appearances. After the season he moved to France for the first division club EA Guingamp . After his footballing achievements, the Bretons from Guingamp extended his contract with him early in July 2018 until June 2022.

After his club at the end of season 2018/19 in the Ligue 2 was staying, he was in August 2019 shortly after the beginning of the season 2019/20 to the Turkish first division side Besiktas on loan until the end of the season. After 17 competitive appearances (league, cup and European cup games), he was no longer used under the new Beşiktaş coach Sergen Yalçın towards the end of January 2020 and in the further course of the season he was partly no longer considered by the coach for the squad or bench. Thus, Beşiktaş and Rebecho decided in June 2020 during the season to terminate the loan early by mutual agreement.

In the national team

Between 2010 and 2017, Rebocho played in the Portuguese youth national teams from U16 to U21 and played a total of 69 internationals . He started his national team career in October 2010 with two appearances for the U16 juniors of Portugal . Rebocho took part as a substitute or substitute player in the final tournaments of the U19 European Championships in 2013 , 2014 ; U20 World Championship 2015 and U21 European Championship 2017 .
